According to PitchBook data reported by Axios, AI startups are dominating venture capital funding. In the first half of 2025, these companies received 53% of all global VC investment. This figure is even higher in the United States, where AI startups secured 64% of all VC dollars. Furthermore, AI startups accounted for 29% of all startups funded globally during this period, highlighting the significant shift in investment focus towards artificial intelligence.
