A young man attempting to cross from Morocco to Spain using a rubber ring and flippers was rescued by a family sailing a yacht. The family spotted the man approximately 13 nautical miles south of Benalmádena on the Costa del Sol on July 16th. They were en route to the Balearic Islands when they noticed movement in the water after maneuvering around an oil tanker.
