Apple is reportedly planning a more affordable MacBook, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Production is slated to begin in late 2025 or early 2026. This new MacBook will differentiate itself by using the A18 Pro chip, currently found in the iPhone 15 Pro, instead of the M-series processors typically used in MacBooks. This could significantly reduce the price point. Kuo also suggests the new model might come in a range of colors, including silver, pink, and yellow, potentially targeting a younger or more casual audience. The current entry-level MacBook is the MacBook Air.
