Rapido, an India-based ride-hailing app, has initiated beta testing for its food delivery service, Ownly, in Bengaluru. This move marks Rapido's entry into the competitive food delivery market, directly challenging established players like Swiggy and Zomato. According to TechCrunch's Jagmeet Singh, the company aims to leverage its existing user base and logistics network to gain a foothold in the rapidly growing food delivery sector in India.
