Google is integrating its AI-powered photo-to-video technology, powered by the Veo 2 engine, into YouTube Shorts and Google Photos. Google Photos users can now generate six-second video clips from still images using either "Subtle movements" or "I'm feeling lucky" prompts. Additionally, a new Remix feature is being introduced, allowing users to reimagine their photos in various artistic styles like anime or comics. The Remix feature will roll out to US users on Android and iOS in the coming weeks. These new creation tools will be accessible via a new 'Create' tab within the app.
