Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of child sex trafficking and formerly associated with Jeffrey Epstein, has been transferred to a prison in Texas. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence. The transfer occurred after Maxwell reportedly met with a high-ranking official from the US Justice Department. The reasons for the transfer have not been officially disclosed.
