DJI enters the 360-degree action camera market with the Osmo 360, a direct competitor to the Insta360 X5 and GoPro Max. The Osmo 360 boasts 8K video capture at 50fps, surpassing the X5's 30fps, while maintaining a smaller and lighter design. A key difference lies in sensor utilization; the Osmo 360 leverages the entirety of its 1-inch square HDR sensors, unlike the X5's partial sensor usage. While the Osmo 360 lacks swappable lenses, its continuous 8K recording capability exceeds 100 minutes. Pricing and US availability are yet to be announced.
