A UK-built satellite, ForgeStar-1, developed by Space Forge, has successfully launched into orbit aboard SpaceX's Transporter-14 mission. This marks the first time the UK has sent a spacecraft specifically for in-space manufacturing. The Cardiff-based startup aims to leverage the unique conditions of space to produce novel materials.
