Anker has announced a global recall for multiple power bank models due to potential fire safety risks. This is their second recall this month, following one for the PowerCore 10000 (A1263) model. The current recall affects the Anker Power Bank (10K, 22.5W) Model A1257, Anker Power Bank (20,000mAh, 22.5W, Built-In USB-C Cable) Model A1647, and Anker MagGo Power Bank (10000mAh) Model A1289. The lithium-ion batteries in these models have been identified as having a risk of overheating, potentially leading to melting, smoke, and fire. Consumers are advised to stop using the affected power banks immediately.
