Amazon plans to launch its Project Kuiper satellite internet service in Australia by mid-2026, partnering with the National Broadband Network Company (NBN Co) to reach over 300,000 rural customers. This initiative aims to address connectivity challenges posed by Australia's vast geography, where traditional infrastructure struggles. Project Kuiper will offer various terminal models, though pricing details are yet to be released. Joe Lathan, Project Kuiper’s manager for Australia and New Zealand, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovative solutions through this collaboration.
