Irish startup Ubotica is collaborating with Dutch companies Fugro and DTACT to create an AI-powered maritime security platform. The system will integrate data from satellites, sea drones, and other sources to monitor European waters and protect critical underwater infrastructure like gas pipelines and subsea cables. Fugro's drones and uncrewed vessels will gather geodata, while DTACT will provide cybersecurity expertise. The platform aims to provide a comprehensive and real-time view of maritime activity, enhancing the ability of European governments to safeguard their underwater assets.
